Thanks Jillian,

I'm lucky to live where I do. People actually pay to vacation and come ride here, and I get to do it for free every weekend.

I need to learn to appreciate that and not complain about any shortcomings.

My husband is from that area, I really hope the next time we visit his family we will be able to ship my bike so I can ride there, or I would consider renting a bike.

someone posted today that Frontier has decided to charge for bicycles like they do for golf bags and similar items

That would be very nice and make it much more affordable.
There are a couple local stores that rent good bikes also.
