Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or MMA
Hi all,
Does anyone here train in BJJ or MMA? I trained in BJJ for a couple of years and want to get back into it.
If any of you train, are there any concerns or issues you've had to contend with? I'm 3.5 weeks post op and was cleared today by my surgeon for full exercise given my quick healing!
Thanks,
Kevin

I do a style of Shotokan karate I've been in for three years, I'm a third degree brown belt. My doc won't clear me for any ground fighting, judo style stuff, or even sparring until 12 weeks. Says the risk of hernia is just too much. All I can do right now is stretch, walk, elliptical, and practice forms. I am five weeks out.
