Accurate pedometer search

I recently have started walking again, and need an accurate pedometer.  I have been walking a week and have noticed so many changes in my body, plus the 7 pound weight loss is a real motivator.  Who would of thought to exercise!  lol

Any suggestions on a accurate pedometer would be appreciated.

Thanks ~

I finally gave up on pedometers and bought a Garmin Forerunner 305.  I adore this thing!  I track all my walking, it gives me a map of my route, the miles walked average speed, maximum speed, average heart rate, maximum heart rate, time it took, etc.  Works for walking, running and biking.  I bought it on Amazon have been using it since December '10 and have some great stats to look back on.

If you are willing to invest a little, the Garmin Forerunners are the best. I got my 405 for around $180. It is so awesome for the reasons listed above. I have never had much luck with pedometers.

Gotta agree with the other posters.  A Garmin is the way to go.  I got mine for about $200 and it has been a sound investment.
