Trying to get back on the ball
Today I walked once around the block. I came home and did 3 sets of 15 sit up/crunches, 3 sets of 15 butterflies with 2.5 pound weights and 3 sets of 15 reps of another arm exercise. It does not feel like I've done much and I probally would of been able to do more if it wasn't for the fact I've had a sinus infection with a lot of drainage. I'm not sure if I should work out tomorrow or just wait a day. Suggestions? And any other at home workouts I can do?
If the weather is bad, I'll just put on some rock music real loud and walk around the house...From the kitchen to the living room to the bedroom. Sometimes I'll use a 2 pound weight while I'm walking. Any extra movement will be good starting out. Even walking longer and longer distances can't hurt...It will build up your legs, muscles, lung capacity, and heart. You may want to bring out those old exercise videos from the closet. You know the ones...we all have them with the idea of using them over the years. If you don't have any, ask friends, family, or neighbors. You can even find them at the library. If you can't keep up with the exercises...just march in place. No one is looking at you.
Just thinking...where do I start?? Putting one foot in front of the other... Pushing yourself with little increments...Not getting exhausted and frustrated if you get too tired. Just my thoughts.
