I had Blue Cross/Blue Shield that included chiropractic coverage. The co-pay was $40, same as for PT. I checked my "explanation of benefits" and it showed that he submitted charges of $45 to $60, depending on units of service.
There are some PTs that are trained in Graston and ART if you only have PT coverage.

I think i have the coverage. I was going to a normal PT andit was 40 copay. I found a PT/chiropractor that is Ironman certified, whatever that means, and does ART, so I will set things up I think this week and give it a shot. I got to do something different because my recoveries are just too long and I am way too tight everywhere.
Amazing job, and great improvement from last year. Don't beat yourself up about not breaking 2 hours. Now you can challenge yourself at the next half.
As for as ART goes, check it out. I'm a definite believer. My chiro does the ART and graston, and he just starts at my feet and work up to the hips and then moves down again. He has carried me through plantar, IT band, knees and many other ailments. It can be quite painful when he releases some of the tightness, but it feels great afterwards.
Rest up and enjoy your success.
