Milestone day for me

10 mile spin
5K Dreadmill
Total time not including transition was 1hr 7min - 1hr 10min don't have my garmin wit the exact times.

Edit:
10 mile spin 35:57  I usually am at about 40 minutes for 10 miles
5K 33:18 Usually about 36-37 minutes when training.

This is a milestone because this is the distance for my ride and run in the Tri I am training for.  I admit that at about 2.5 miles I was ready to get off the treadmill and say workout done, but instead I upped the speed a bit.  I finished the last .1 miles at a full out run, for me anyways, 8mph.  I was pretty stoked afterwards and felt better getting off the dreadmill than I did getting on it.

Hope everyone has great a day.

Way to go Paul, like I said on FB, you are really accelerating your program.  Rest and stretches for me, and some well earned bread and pasta.. a rare treat :)  Getting my mind ready for pain tomorrow!  I'm gonna try and hold an 8.30 min/mile pace as long as I can and see what happens.

An hour with the trainer...all arms with a 10% incline treadmill kicker at the end, then 15 minute cardio after. This is the end of week 2 from basically being totally sedentary to kicking ass at the gym 5 days/week. I can feel my endurance increasing and my rest breaks are not as urgent as before but I'm still sweating my ass off (let's hope literally!).  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Courage is not always a lion's roar. Sometimes, it is a small voice at the end of the day saying I will try again tomorrow.

Good for you!! I hope to be at the level 8-10 months from now.

It is exactly one month since my surgery date today; and I am thirty pounds lighter. My official gym workout starts today since I am released for a few more things from my surgeon. I'll be doing 1.5 miles on the treadmill and an extensive arm workout. Still not cleared for running, pushups, situps or anything that works out my core, including leg weights because of the pressure to the core, I guess.
