did a 90 min spin class with my new coach @ their facility w/ my trainer and road bike.  good class, and i'm very intimidated by the other athletes that these guys coach :) (http://www.thesportfactory.com/site/)
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

let's just say that they coach a bunch of pro triathletes and elite athletes (as well as beginners and age groupers too like me).  i was in a room today with four other people for the spin class, and each one of them had at least a couple full IM under their belts....  and they weren't the elite ones :)

that's the kindof swim i would like to be able to do!  man, your "nice and smooth" swim blows away my "hard on the ragged edge of concsiousness" time for that distance :)

I know how you feel Bill, when I swim 1600, its hard, ragged, sloppy, and takes me about 34 mins. If you can call that swimming, I like to think of it as "drowning with style"
