Since I see posts here all the time about the WII and is this or that exercise/game any good, here is an article on it with.
The article is more detailed, but basically
It's exercise, but not as good as doing the actual activity, running vs running in place with the WII, things like that.
However it did say that people who used it tended to be more active so they were getting some benefit from it's use.
They also cautioned and yes I know it's true from playing the boxing game, it is easy to cheat the game and just flick your wrist to simulate a movement that is supposed to be a whole body movement, you are only cheating yourself.
