th Embarrassed but here goes because we "hear it all" here so ...

1 surgery and 1 sling in the past 8-9 years for my bladder due to big babies, being over 40 and my weight ...so there's my story.

My problem is I want to do sit ups but have "problems" with incontinence

Is there a way to do situps without straining the bladder???

Thanks
Binda

There might be a lot of other ab/core workouts you can do without doing situps. I'm not an expert in that area, but maybe other people will have some ideas. Or google

My sister hasd similar issues, 3 children and 3 c sections have done a real number on her bladder too.  She did well with pilates.  It was less invasive to her and didn't cause he bladder so many issues.

They also told her to practice kegals, do you know what those are?

Sit ups are probably the least effective core exercise out there IMO. Now, if you are doing a well-rounded core program, you will do some of them, but you need to do so much more.

So, if sit ups are a problem, I'd just cut them out and do the other core exercises.
