What happened today
What a horrible experience! It's scary enough when they just dash out to greet you, let alone give chase.
"Hard things take time to do. Impossible things take a little longer."
I am SO GLAD you didn't get bit...and I'm HORRIFIED that you had to go through that. Now that I understand a lot more why you need to carry a gun when you ride and run. awful, simply awful.
Read my blog, BARIATHLETE I run because I can.

Thank you for all the support, I really love you guys.
I am doing a lot better today, and even managed to go for a nice 4 mile run. Tomorrow I will do my regularly scheduled swim workout. This incident changes nothing. I will still push forward to achieve my goals.
With the Army, Joel has to work with his branch manager to try to get us a transfer out. The branch manager will let him know if there are openings for his job at other Army installations. So right now we are in a waiting game, the Army is overstrengthed, and not really moving people around right now. So I will ride and run in "safe zones" and watch my back.
