6.2 mile run on the mill.
Its definitely warm enough to run outside, just not sure I feel comfortable doing it at 4 am.
1000 m swim tonight, maybe a short bike ride.

Large or small, what did you do/ or going to do today.
Was it more than yesterday?

1.46 mile walk this morning in just over 32 minutes,  Was definitely more than i did yesterday.  I'm still having a problem with consistency...when weather hits I have a major problem with arthritis and it takes effort to do anything ... let alone do my walk.  I really need to work on pushing though on days like that...

Hi Everyone. I'd like to get back into posting my workouts here...so here goes:

Last night I did a 2.5 mile jog/walk at the track. I try to jog the straightaways as far as I can make it and walk the turns. My knees started hurting and are pretty sore now. This is the first time for knee pain in the two weeks since Ive started running.

Walking the track tonight as I dont want to hurt my knees. Minimum 3 miles and go from there.

did metabolic testing this morning with some disappointing results, about a mile jog during the test with some big inclines to reach peak.

then did a 60 min spin class - Speed play
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

yeah, i've been really struggling with this one.  it's been just about 11 months since my last tests and according to the tests, my RMR went down by almost 200 calories and my VO2max went down two and a half points from 53.6 to 51.1.  what gets me is, my weight has remained constant (within a pound), and emprically my strength and therefore lean muscle mass has increased as i am lifting much heavier weights this year, and my speed is up (year over year improvement of the same 5K last weekend of exactly a minute).... and my training is up year over year.  so i don't get it.  i talked it over with the guy from the gym and he's going to retest me next week or the week after for free, because it didn't make sense to him either.   either way, definitley not the results i was expecting and has kinda put me in a bummed out mood....

Don't let it get you down .... I bet there's a mistake somewhere. I keep saying I'm gonna go for the testing but never do. I would like to know my rmr and body fat as well.

Can you explain what the testing entails and where you can get it done?  Does it give you more information than you can get from a Bod Pod?
