Gauded between thighs - Solutions?

I'm using a recumbent exercise bike, because I've got a bum knee and it's easier than the treadmill.  I've developed a recent issue... probably because I've increased my speed & distance... the friction & sweat is causing me to become gauded or raw in the crease of my thighs.

I wash & dry well after working out.  I've even applied some baby powder, because I remember my mom using that on me as a child when I had this issue.  But I'd like to work out every other day, and I'm not getting enough healing time in.  Any suggestions to solve or prevent this?  Thanks.

what are you wearing?  you may want to try wearing under armor (or another brand) of compression underwear, that has helped me.  if the friction continues, try vasaline or body glide (expensive).
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

I was getting raw while running and moved to compression underwear and have had no issue since.

A & D ointment or honestly any type of diaper rash ointment, and Under Armor! Lots of 'airing it out' when you aren't working out.

I would use A&D ointment to get it to heal and then use bodyglide before working out.  It's MUCH better than vaseline because it goes on smooth and dry and isn't greasy at all.  It looks like a stick of deoderant and lasts quite a while.

Started riding a bike last summer and found same issue. Bike shops have a special cream to battle friction issues, can't remember the name, there are several brands and all have good reps.  Jenny T

Chamois butter is probably what you're thinking of.. I actually prefer bag balm for my bottom for long rides.
