Hello guys

How much exercise has changed my life is hard to put into words...so I will show pictures

I was at the point of giving up with my Band then I decided to try again.  Exercise has helped me to lose 140 lbs.  I feel better than I did when I 25 years old.  The exercise has helped me change my eating habits that were making me fat.  The band helps me with my portions and cravings.  But exercise motivated, me to USE my band and stop ignoring it.  I have goals and more importantly I have hope, self esteem and faith in myself.  That is just some of what exercise has given me.

I was 354 lbs in the first pictures...the second pictures I'm at 218 lbs!!!  I have lost a total of 52 inches...which is more than 4 feet!!!  I was a size 30/32 now I am a size 18.  BMI was 54 now it's 33!!!  I still have about 50 more pounds to go...

I do the treadmill for 60 minutes.  I am slowly working my way up to being able to run.  Maybe one day I can do a 5k.  I am taking it slowly because when I started interval training it didn't take long for my knee to start hurting.  I don't want to injure myself.  So my doctor agreed with my method of workout the muscles around my knees (hamstrings and quadricepts) to give me extra support in my knee (I will be less likey to injure myself with good support).  He said that's what they do in physical therapy for people with knee injuries.  I will do this for 4-6 weeks and slowly introduce interval training back into my workout.

Then I do 30 minutes of weights.  I alternate days...one day lower body,,,one day upper body.  I also stretch afterwards.  I workout 6 days a week, 90 minutes a day.  On the weekends I am learning Yoga....when I have time.
