Question re: Running/Training during/after the "bug"??

The "bug" that has been going around the area caught me this week.  I've been down for a few days (fever, headache, general body ache, and very low low energy).  What is the sage advice regarding getting back on schedule for training?  I was supposed to do a 10 miler on Saturday, but I don't think that is going to happen.  Thoughts and comments?

Thanks

I would go back to the last distance you were able to do comfortably before coming down with the "bug". If you did eight, try eight again. Just don't put on any extra mileage your first time back on the road and don't try to push the pace too quickly.

ease your way back... no need to make it worse when your immunity system is working already in overdrive.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
