the coolest thing in the world is when your family joins you in the new commitment to health.  The fact that my kids want to run in races with me is one of my biggest motivators!

nice!  which 5K are you doing?  is it the one @ northpoint?  i was thinking of doing that one if it is this weekend, i've run that course a couple of times now (including my first one two memorial day's ago), it is a good course with one small hill and very special to me.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Yes, my kid's pediatrician sponsors it, and it's a qualifier for the Peachtree.

I'm hoping it's plenty flat.

5k run on the TM, 15 minutes of that wacky Tabata protocol (who is the jerk who introduced me to that crazy idea!?) and a very light shoulder routine.

My first half of the year is 6 days away.. why am I so freaking nervous about it??  I'm panicked my off-season routine wasn't good enough.. Guess we'll know in a week!

trust in your training... you got this!  regarding tabata's... the first time i did them was in a spin class, and i remember wanting to fly to japan just to punch the guy in the face :)  buuut, man, they are good.  painful.  but good.

Had a 10 mile run scheduled and ran a little further somewhere between 10.5 -11.  Beautiful cloudy day - no rain!

As I left this morning - my hubby commented on how sexy I look in my running shorts ;-)  Love the positive feedback - thankfully I am already snipped!

Great to see family getting involved!  My daughter is going to run a 5K with me in a few weeks - I love being able to be the active mom my daughters deserve!  Way to go!

ran 2.25 miles to brunch.  ate, rested, read a magazine and ran 2.25 miles home.  Not bad for a chick who was in the hospital writhing in pain a couple of days ago!

Doing my best to build up mileage again, can't believe i split up 4.5 miles, but hey, it got done!
Read my blog, BARIATHLETE   I run because I can.
