I have a 3 mile race on tap for 1pm.  I think it's the first time I have pre registered for a local race.  Saved me 3 bucks!!!!

 Supposed to be a full rest day...BUT...the sun is shinning, it's a beautiful blue sky, it's a little cold (17 degrees) and I think I may just have to get an easy run in this morning...shhhhh  don't tell on me.  : )

Yea, I did it...on my way home from Church, it's warmed up, the sun has melted the ice and snow, I see other runners out there and I HAD to run...Ran 4.92mi in 46 mins 53 secs...Yea I know, it is "supposed" to be my "FULL" rest day, but the sun is shining, there is not a single cloud in this beautiful blue sky. ...It was GREAT!!! Run On!

 2miles on the TM & 2 miles on the Elip sometime this afternoon.

65 min on the stationary bike - AE/AT intervals (27.43 miles)

In response to Cabin's post about how I should be using this forum, I submit the following: 

I ran/jogged outside today for the first time.  I've been doing my C25K program on the treadmill, and had some irrational fear about trotting around outside. 

But I did it.   And, a full 3.0 miles!!!  Prepping for my first 5K coming up on Saturday.  Bring it on!
By the way, my wife and kids came to the park with me to ride bikes/walk while I ran, and my wife said it was 'hot' that I was running!!  Also commented that my calves were complete muscle now!

Careful until you get those berries snipped. A wife saying you doing something that is hot can lead to an undiscussed side effect of wls, a PREGGO wife!

Mine got that side effect one month before surgery!!  We're half way down that path, and baby #4 will be here in July.  I'll need to boost up my energy to keep up!

In fact, I may have to add "chasing little ones" to my daily workout caloric calculator!
