took another day off, guess I am in a down cycle week.  The triathlon training has kicked my rear, I think it was a really bad idea to try and lose a few pounds while ramping up the volume, especially the swimming.  Next week is my first half marathon of the year, feeling like the ironman, even the half, was too much of a reach for me right now.

4.6 mile slow jog (50 min)  which was excellent since I have been sick and this was my first day back on the road - tomorrow 10 miles!

Got out on the road in the afternoon and ran 7.77 miles in 1:08:55... Averaged 7:45's going out and 9:45's coming back... 25+mph winds will do that to you!

Late post. Early morning 4.99 mile run with a fill-in running partner. It was her longest run ever, and I really had to push her at the end, but it was well worth it to see her smile when she completed the run.
