Blisters
Hi -
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for never-ending blisters? When ever I walk/exercise for more than 20-30 minutes, I get blisters on the outsides of my feet and my toes. I've tried wrapping my feet, those Band Aid blister sticks, wearing multiple pairs of socks, I've tried three different brands of shoes, and the blisters just keep coming. It's kind of irritating but for the most part I just deal with it.
I love this community and all of you have been very inspirational for me. I hope to be able to join you soon in all of your amazing accomplishments.

Have you tried moisture wicking socks? You say you have tried different shoes but were they fitted at a running store? If not it could be a matter of the wrong type of shoe. Don't let the running store scare you. My experience is they are bet helpful and the one I go to is not really any more expensive than any other place you might find good shoes.

For the most part when they talk about running stores, which you may already know... Means a real running store, not foot locker or one of the big mall chain type stores.
A good running store will put you in several shoes, check your stride and the way your foot hits the ground, they can recommend a properly supporting shoe for your foot.
Moisture wicking socks are great. Never go with cotton, it just holds all the moisture sweat in place.
I like the Injinji socks, they are like gloves for your feet. They keep each of the toes seperated and will help prevent any toe to to friction.
They take a bit of getting used to, but I haven't ever gotten a blister while wearing them.
I can't say the same for my other socks.
