First run since my surgery.  Ran five miles.  It's great to be back on the road.  Time to get some miles back into the legs and the lungs.

Lap Band on 11/17/09 with
 10 mile run was nice to finally get in a run longer than 6 miles.  I now feel like I am ready for my half next weekend.

Its been a week since my last run, my doctor told me to ease back into running and stop when it hurts. So I did a brick workout with a 24 mile bike ride on the trainer, took about 3 minutes as a "transition" and then went outside and ran a mile in 6:47, I was starting to feel the ITBS pain a few steps from the 1 mile point so I did what the doc said and stopped after the 1 mile.

 things have been crazy trying to get ready for my husbands commissioning, so today was a power day of shopping...day and night...I think we are almost done now...so no true exercise...
