Me too! I'm so addicted to that rush myself. I love it! I too, am having to be super careful. I have such weak shins and ankles. It stinks! I do feel better about the my eating habits. I spent the weekend cleaning out the junk and stocked up on good foods from Whole Foods. I love that place and I love that it provides such yummy healthy variety of wonderful foods!!! I hope you have a speedy recovery. Keep me posted.

I totally understand. Did a half last weekend and it was like giving myself permission to eat a lot more junk (carbs) as it neared and for the week after. Results, I'm up almost 2 pounds (of course, TOM is due, so part of the grazing could have been PMS). And I bought myself a box of sugar free Sees Candy dark chocolate covered almonds. It's time to get back on track for me too eating wise, and get back in track on exercising. I have a 5K in April to train for and I can't run more than an eighth of a mile? I walk fast now, but want to run this. Ugh, it's hard.

Good for you for going to Whole Foods and stocking up! Good luck!

what's an offseason??  :)  kidding.

i have to alter my eating depeding on my training.  it is easier (for me at least) because i am very strict about logging my food daily, generally after each meal.  i also weigh twice daily and keep myself accountable for every pound and piece of junk that hits my mouth.  let's face it, depriving yourself 100% of everything that is "bad" food is probably not going to work.  but if you keep yourself accountable and track EVERYTHING, it works in the end.  some days/weeks are tougher than others.  the only foods i've been able to completely cut out of my life are anything that will cause me to dump (hi fat/fried food including most cheeses, burgers, pizza, fries etc), and soda, which was easier than i thought.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Thank you! I do need to track my food better. Thanks again and hope you're doing well.
