So tomorrow is the big day..I finish week 5 of the www.c25k.com program with a 20 minute run.  I am so freaking excited!  I've started weight training and it seems the running and training have kick started my metabolism and I've lost 7.5 lbs in the past week.  Sweet deal.

So it's official, I'm going to run a half marathon in Toronto, ON on May 15, 2011 for Team Diabetes.  See the link below, as I am trying to raise funds for Team D, as I have lost both of my parents to this disease and other loved ones.  In addition, I had diabetes and with the RNY I have become diabetes free!  WOOHOO!

If anyone has any info on music podcasts for training for a half marathon could you please let me know?  Thanks...OMG I love this new lease on life.

BTW...got the results from my gastroscopy and everything has healed from my mouth to the bottom of my pouch...my pouch is looking awesome and perfect according to the surgeon.  They are sending me to another specialist to get an idea of what is going on from the bottom up so to speak.  Good news is that I'm throwing up less and every day is not filled with tonnes of pain!  There's a light at the end of this tunnel!  And I totally stopped myself from emotionally eating and took an hour long walk with the pup...I'm changing my life and I love it!

Congratulations!  You've discovered what it takes for long-term success!  Crossing the finish line of the half marathon will just fuel your new addiction.
