Texas Half

Ran the Texas Half on Saturday on Winrfrey Point around scenic White Rock Lake in Dallas.

What a beautiful day it was!!  Weather was in the high 30s when we started and probably around 50 or so when we finished.  The bluest sky you would ever want to see and very little wind, if any.

The race winds around the lake, very flat and it was fabulous. Stuck to a mainly 9:00/mile pace, didn't get passed by anyone and finished in 1:58:18.  Very pleased with my efforts.

Now looking forward to the Cowtown Marathon on February 27.

awesome!  sounds like great conditions (although high 30's is a bit on the cold side for a wuss like me at the start), 50's and sunny are just about perfect for this guy.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
