Heart Rate Monitors

I am looking into heart rate monitors.  I was wanting one that could also double as a digital watch and I want something that is relatively easy to use (e.g., easy to upload workout information into PC, buttons not too complicated, etc.).  Mostly I will be using it for running.  I've got about $140 to spend.

Any reccomendations?

I bought my first one at Walmart, under $100 I think.  But it doesnt upload to a computer.

Still works great!

If you're using it for running (and yes they're a bit more than $140) I HIGHLY reccomend the Garmin watches. In addition to heart rate etc it will also give you pace, distance, mapping and all sorts of other groovy stuff. Synchs right to your PC.

Polar F6.  It is easy to use and uploads to your PC.  It can be worn as a watch too.  It is also able to be used in water, if you ever swim or do water workouts.

I got the Garmin 305 and love it!  It was 128 with amazon.  It's kinda big to wear as an everyday watch though, plus you have to recharge it between workouts, but the battery lasts quite awhile.  You install the garmin software on your pc, and all you do is plug it in and it goes right to your PC and software.  It's awesome, shows you your elevation during your run, heart rate, pace, average bpm, high beat, even shows you where you were on a map since it has GPS on it.  Love it!
