Has anyone tried the Zumba game on Wii or any other game system?  I found it at Walmart and wanted feedback before I buy it.  I'm curious as to how it compares to a live class.  Any feedback is appreciated!

I've read some of the reviews, and some people love it, some hate it. Check out like amazon and read the reviews. I have a wii but I've been thinking to just get the regular DVD.

It depends on you...I like the challenge of other people in the class, it keeps me going.

The Zumba DVDs can be overwhelming...unless you already have dance experience. I tried the DVDs after taking the class and I had a hard time keeping up with the footwork. In the class, I feel like I just keep moving, at home its easy to get overwhelmed and stop. Plus I have my bff in the class so I can dance like a fool and have fun. At home by myself...its not so funny! LOL

I dont have the Zumba game, but I have the Golds Gym Dance workout. Again, the dance portion is hard to keep up with, but I really enjoy the Boxing portion.

I haven't tried it, but I have a couple of friends who love it.  I was told that if you've taken Zumba classes, and are familiar with the moves, then the WII version is a great at-home option.  If you're not familiar with the moves, you can spend a lot of time (without as much sweat), just trying to learn the moves.

Based on that, I opted for the EA Sports Active 2, which has really high ratings as a WII fitness game.
