I'm trying to defeat C25K week five, workout three.... just like I tried to on Thursday.  I'm hoping today's the day I can complete it!  I'm trying not to get discouraged that I can't run twenty minutes without stopping yet.  I know one day I'll look back and laugh as I cross the finish line.... but it's still hard

I know it will!  I'm not going to let it de-motivate me like last time.  I've decided I might need to work up to the 20 straight minutes but I'm close, and I also need to visit my PCP because my exercise-induced asthma is back, which is frustrating, and painful.

First time out since my surgery.  Walked 2 1/2 miles this morning in 10 degree weather.  It was cold but felt good to be out.  Went to our running store afterwards for their loft sale.  Picked up a pair of Brooks and Asics for just under $60.  Normally the two pairs would cost about $300.  Takes care of me for this year.  Feel like I'm living the good life today.

 8 miles on the mill @ 10min/mile
New rule for myself, I will never run under 10 min/mile again, why, because I can!

Tomorrow's long run will be brutal. It'll be 12 below zero when we hit the streets looking like ninjas.
