Sunday workouts
When I went to bed last night, I was expecting to wake up to blizzard-like conditions. I was pleasantly surprised to see sunshine and blue skies. The lake effect snow bands set up south of us. So, we took advantage of the weather and ran 10 miles. Along the way, we saw two eagles. What a way to start the morning!

40 minutes of weights (core)
10 min walking on TM for warmup/cooldown
first run since the goofy, 4 miles on the TM 31:42, legs felt a bit tight and sore in spots, but overall they felt pretty good.

Cascade Half Marathon today! They didn't chip time, but according to my Garmin, here are my stats:
13.19 miles, 2:22 time, 10:47 min/mile average
This was through some crazy weather -- poured down rain the entire time and super windy. The last two miles were straight into strong winds. The great part is that is was totally flat and 55 degrees out, so the wet was no big deal. I'm happy with the time. 8 minutes better than my first half marathon.
