Going to start riding!
I am so excited I just have to share. My husband surprised me today with a new bike. 2010 Orbea Onix Dama T105, this is my first road bike. I am scared that its to much bike and will be so afraid of crashing the carbon frame, but after test riding several bikes it came down to either a 2010 specialized dolce comp or the orbea. The bike shops in our area have 40% off 2010 models and he just not pass up the deal on the orbea. I would have been happy with either one. Thanks for listing just had to share.

Thanks everyone, yes I have been fitted, I was fitted for both bikes and got to ride both bikes several miles before he bought the Orbea. I will take it back to them for another adjust once we put the pedals on, I have been clipping into our spin bike for months so we will see trying to decide if I should learn how to shift correctly first or clip in or just go for it.
I plan on just riding with my husband until spring, so that he can help me learn, to shift correctly thats my biggest fear, then in the spring a women's group ride starts up here, so I hope to be good enough to do that. After I finish my running goals, I maybe up for a tri but not sure. But I am getting the bug.
I thought someone on the board talked about orbea bikes. Glad to know you like it, guess I am the odd person out in my family I now own an Elecrtra Townie 8 which I love to, I dont think I will ever give up my cruiser and now the Orbea. My husband is a Specialized guy he have 4 of them, so it was a great surprise to me when he came home with the Orbea. I am just so happy he picked the one I really wanted. But I would have been happy with the specialized.
