Awesome! How much are you willing to sell it for?

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, I will sell the 110 to you without the heart rate monitor for $80. Its only 6 months old.

I use the 305.  I have a 405 that I hate.  Probably gonna buy one of the fancy triathlon versions soon.  If you are just running and biking, I would highly recommend the 305, its bulky but very easy to use.

I just bought the 305 too!  It was 128 on Amazon.  It has the heart monitor and GPS, you can also purchase a foot pod (treadmil runs) for 60 more bucks and the bike whateverthingamajiger for another 40 I think. My buddy just got the 305 and showed me his workout, it was pretty cool, very detailed and even mapped it for him and showed him which route he took.  I was sold.  Got it yesterday, it's charging now.  :)  I thought for the money it was good.

I have the Garmin 305cx  Love it!!!!!  I love the color, how it looks like a watch and really I don't feel like it is all that big on me and I have a normal woman's size wrist/arm.  I love that it is easy to use and I can just take off and run.  Training for my half I found it hard as the miles increased to drive out the route and actually remember where to run the next morning.  Now I just put my watch on, give it about 10 seconds or less to find satellites and I am off running where ever I feel like going!  Love it!

I also love that I can look at my pace and my mileage as I am running.  Helps me get through some tough times on the run where I think I am too tired to continue.  It has a virtual partner on there that I use backwards.  I use it as a slower partner so that if I am getting close to him/her then I speed up as I want to be faster than that pace.  But you could use it as a competitve thing too.  Set it for a faster pace than your normal and strive to keep up or beat the partner.

love it and I don't think it is hard to use but I have no other model to compare it to.

What I also love about it is that I can turn GPS off (saves battery) and use the watch just as a heart rate monitor for my step aerobics class.  I also did not buy the foot pod so I use this method on the treadmill for just tracking calories burned.

This may be a stupid question, but if you don't have the cadence sensor attachment, what sort of information does the watch provide while on a bike?

I have been looking into the 310xt, but am not sure I would really utilize it in the water to make it worth my extra money spent.  Would the 305 be a decent starter?

I think the 305 would be a great starter. I would guess that without the cadence you would still get gps as far as miles and pace but maybe not as accurate. I dunno.
