Race shirts

Having to select the size of a race shirt is the most difficult thing! I have 4 races between now and April and they each have a shirt. I haven't done many races. Do you find the tech shirts for these races run small or big? I hover between a medium and large shirt depending on the style. It's hard when you're changing sizes too!

I've found that all the tech shirts that I've gotten from races tend to run small...all from last summer my tech shirts range from a large to a xxl.   If they're unisex or a women's cut makes a difference too....I was kinda bummed to have to get an xxl for a shirt after i've been wearing larges all summer, but it's because it was a women's only race, thus the women's cut.

And on the plus side, if it's a little tight at race time, it may fit perfectly later in the season or next year!! :)

If they're gender specific, the women's definitely run small.  My Irongirl shirt is an XL.  (I'm 5'2" and wear a size 6 in misses clothes).  Men's/unisex tech shirts, I can wear a small, usually.
