Just finished my 'last' run for 2010 - 3.4 miles in 0:34:01, a 10:04 min mile pace...not too bad for an "old" guy who just started running again in October. I went out 16 times in December and logged 60.84 miles, thats an average of 3.8 miles per run. Tomorrow its a New Years Day 5K to kick off 2011. It also starts my 25K & Marathon training program so i know my total miles will increase. So, besides my 25K & Marathon goals, my 3rd goal for 2011 is to log 1,000 miles. Happy New Year! Run On!

After my run on Wednesday, the legs were sore (irritating!) so spin class this morning was a good thing.  Good workout, and no more soreness!  Thinking about a short 3-mile run late this afternoon if I have time.

One last semester of classes coming up, then I get to start my experiential rotations.  I really enjoy the breaks when the stress level goes way down and the workouts are more fun!

Unintended rest day......arg! Went to YMCA with all my swim gear just for them to tell me the pool is closed. Can't run today because of severe IT band pain. Have a long bike ride with my best friend planned tomorrow when it is supposed to be 72 and sunny here in South GA.

Headed out at 5am this morning to meet my running partner only to find out that she had texted me and cancelled due a conflict.  Well, being dressed I decided to go ahead and run.  Twelve miles later I arrived back at my house.  Not bad for my final run of the year.  Tomorrow is suppose to be much warmer so hopefully I'll be able to get out early and celebrate the new year.
