Was reading Bicycling Magazine this evening.  They were talking about socks that are made from high-tech fibers which wisk away sweat.  Just wondering if any of you use these and how they work.  For me, this is the worst part of bike riding, walking, work (walking)...Sweating, cold feet!!

Yea - I was told by both my running trainer and my podiatrist to get the high-tech fiber wicking socks.  Your feet actually stay dryer and warmer, especially in the winter if you are running or biking outside.  Helps with athletes foot or any fungal type issues.  They said Cotton are the worst socks you can wear.

I really do like them and think they work.  I found less expensive (cheap) ones at Walmart.  Same material, in fact, same brand as at the running store.  I now have 3 pair so I can rotate and have a clean pair every day I run.

I use Smart Wool socks in the winter.  Can't beat them for keeping the toes warm.  It was 10 degrees this morning.
