OK I had VSG on 11/2 losing weight consistently.  Eating plan getting better and better and on track.  I am SMO, started last year at 450+ at first eval 433 , at OR 410 and now Drum roll please 378!  My legs are so weak from only walking small distances due to weight and breathing problems.  Now it is icy outside and I need to get stronger and gain some endurance. Post op I have severe pain in my right inner thing and that passed in 5 days now I hve numbness and tingling in the top of the right thigh.  Could it be from the pannus resting on it when I am sitting?  It is much less in the am when I first awaken. That is why I think is is some kind of pressure / nerve problem. Any ideas?  Anyone started this out so out of shape a me? I am 54 years. Thanks Maja

 Pre Op 450 lbs +/ VSG 10/2011  421 lbs/ DS 4/2013 371 lbs

You need to talk to your doctor about your pain/numbness. It could be anything from something benign to something really serious and there really isn't any way that we'd know.

Congrats on your success!

I agree with MacMadame - this is something you should bring up with your surgeon right away.  Bodies react so differently to things, so its hard to say what is normal for one person might be cause for concern in another.

Be careful walking with the winter weather.  Lots of shopping malls open early for walkers and most have lots of places to stop and rest on benches along the way.

Keep up the good work!
