I ran across these two articles on a body building site and I thought they might be of interest around here, especially as we get 'how can I lose fat off my [specific body part] threads constantly. So obviously it's a topic of interest to many.

A newbie.

In this context, I think it's people new to the bodybuilding.com site and also new to the idea of working out to build body mass and cut fat.

So people who aren't very experienced.

What I love about the first article is that he says that all this stuff that is really personal preference is personal preference. So many people will tell you that *their* way is *the* way but the scientific data doesn't really support that.

Awesome article! I especially loved this quote, I'm putting it on my profile:

"While you stay out late, I'm eating clean. While you sleep in, Im doing morning cardio. While you miss a workout, I'm lifting. Every time you don't give 100%, you make it that much easier for me to beat you."
