Skipping a meal often leads to over-eating which in turn makes you gain more weight.
When eating a food high in fat, salt or sugar, select other foods that are low in these ingredients. If you miss out on any food group one day, make up for it the next. Your food choices over several days should fit together into a healthy pattern. Write down what you eat for 3 days. Are you having too much butter or getting enough fruits and vegetables? You are the best person to identify your mistakes and set them right.
