Congratulations! You are soo inspiring to me, as are the other runners of this forum. It's not an easy sport and one that requires just as much mental tenacity as physical (sometimes far more than physical). Way to go!

I agree with you that it is a lot more mental than anything else. I think that is why I kept coming back to it. The wls surgery was a tool for better health, but it didn't fix my "head". I think that is where the running filled in some of the gaps. It forced me to believe in myself. Great lessons can be learned from running a marathon. It's truly life changing. Thanks for your kind words!
