3 1/2 mile run this morning at a 10:14 min/mile pace. I'm still not fast, but I remember when I was running a 13:00 min/mile pace. I also remember asking the board, "How do you get faster?". Someone had the answer, "To run faster, just run faster". I guess it works! LOL

Went to physical therapy today and had a really nice stretching session.  My hammies were soooo tight, seems like that is a big part of my pain.  Also got introduced to the foam roller for my IT band issues.  Like many of you said, its gonna be a love-hate thing.

After that I did a 62 minute "run" on the precor machine, about 6 miles and a 1k calorie burn.  Felt great with no pain during or after.  Back and Bi's after that.   Most enjoyable  workout literally in weeks for me.  I guess the stretching really is the key.

2 milesin the snow!  Half running, half walking (intervals)

Doesn't feel like much, but it worked me out.  Weather conditions, hills, and my first run since last Monday.  Fighting to get back into the groove.  I also spent hours this weekend building my "gym"  in my basement - lots of cleaning required in order to make it happen.  I want options and I'll have 'em!

Was supposed to do piliates and run...but had to take hubby to doctor and then go and load some wood into the truck and unload it at home...I guess since I picked up more wood than my 15 year old, I am getting stronger????  or he is just a lazy teen...LOL
