Articles like this is not making my wife feel better about letting me spend $4000 on a bike.
May all of them have peace.

This is why my new triathlon bike is nicknamed "the widower maker",people around here think its hilarious to try and scare me by passing me as closely as possible.

I was riding in a charity even and someone buzzed about 25 of us.  One person got the tag # and called him in.  That afternoon we passed him, with a cop behind him.  Each of us slowed down to thank the cop as he was issuing the ticket.  :)

I looked at your blog and saw the pics of your new Trek!  Love it!  How is it working for you?  I have a Trek Madone and Love-Love it!  Congrats on your weight loss and continued success!

That is horrible news.  I have been hit by a car...the idiot didn't stop..major damage to my right knee.

In Tennessee we now have the 3 ft. law...not that it really helps in all situations but, if a police officer sees a car closer than 3 ft. to a cyclist...he can issue a ticket.  It was all because a local cyclist, Jeff Roth, was killed/run over on a ride close to his home.  Sad but true about cycling.
