How are things????

Too cold to race here! lol Well, pushing ahead, but I am noticing how easy it is to find excuses not to exercise when it is so busy! But, most of my shopping is complete, and I would find an excuse to miss a workout even if it weren't Christmas!

How are you running these days?

Oh yeah, I have a HIDA scan Mon. and we are praying they get this vomiting figured out. It has been 7 weeks.

UGH, you must be miserable, I can't imagine.  I hope they get it figured out on Monday!

I ran Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday, and plan to do all 3 days this weekend (I have Mondays off).  It really feels good getting back into it regularly, and Wednesday night, the scale read the lowest I've seen it since before I got pregnant 21 years ago.  (I'm sure that'll change tonight, 'cause I have not been good at all today!)

Still having trouble with the stamina thing... not sure if I'm going faster inside on the treadmill that I usually do outside or what.  I did make it 20 minutes before a walk break on Wednesday, but then started having to take them every 3-5 minutes after that, which sucks!  Oh well, at least it's getting done. :)

Chakara I bet its tough keeping on top of hydration when your sick:(  I hope they figure out whats going on.  Do you think it might be your birth control pills?  I'm chugging right along.  I'm on w1d2 of 10k program.  I hope everyone has  a wonderful weekend.  coco135

funny you should ask, I think it is definitely related to my birth control. It says that can be a contributing factor, along with rapid weight loss, to a diseased gallbladder. I noticed that the five days that I didn't get sick did coincide with my break from the pill. I don't want another surgery, but, I do want it figured out. So, crossing my fingers and hoping it is the gallbladder.

Wow! How are you breathing in that cold air. I ran my race in that cold type weather and it was tough! I think that would be a great question for the main fitness forum. Those guys are fantastic with tricks and advice. You Rock!
