Going to be on drugs for Christmas!
Well, after consultation with the Plastic Surgeon, I was approved on first submission for my lower body lift (minus the thighs).
So, my surgical date is 12/21/10. I was told 2 nights and three days in the hospital, then home to a recliner for some warm spiced cider and percocet in front of the Christmas Tree. (If I wake up draped with garland, my kid won't use the car for months!)
I will take BEFORE pics like Dan did (I will wear a sports bra though ).
I'm curious, and I know I will find out at my post op appt. on the 9th, but curious when I will be able to start working out and doing some eliptical or treadmill work or hit the pavement for a slow jog!! I'm scared, not of the surgery, but of not being able to work out. I know it's all mental, but still, scary just the same. Make Sense?

Every morning in Africa , a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning inAfrica , a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
