5 miles of intervals on the treadmill.

1 mile at 6 mph to warm up
1200 meters at 7.9 mph
1000 meters at 7.9 mph
800 meters at 8 mph
600 meters at 8.1 mph
400 meters at 8.2 mph
.75 mile at 6.5 mph to cool down

Once again these intervals reduced me to a puddle.  But, I felt good when all was done.

900m swim in 20 minutes, 30 minutes on the Adaptive Motion Trainer from Precor.. Have any of you used this machine?  Its awesome - you can run, step, or even simulate a standing hard cycling move, and almost no joint pains.. and you can burn some serious cals - I had my heart rate at peak the whole time.  Love it.     Chest, tris and abs too.

3 mile run in 33:12 mins - nice pace outside - it was snowing - so peaceful and quiet - also found a running buddy from the gym; then back to gym for 20 mins of abs work.  Great way to start the day!

Totally agree with Paul - i really don't like the treadmill, but may have to use it as the "Winter" progresses here in Michigan.

Went to a running clinic this evening to prep for the 5/14 Grand Rapids 5/3 River Bank Run (25K).  Does anyone else come to Grand Rapids for this run?  If so, let me know.

I've started the training program that will take me through the winter months.  Pretty cool!  I am excited!  Plan on the 25K 5/14, then a Marathon in October!  Those are my goals for 2011.
