 Easy warm up on bike then elliptical followed by 45 mins of weights focused on upper body and abs.  Running/leg rest day.

 light free weight work - leg extensions and calf raises only, 5K on the treadmill - 37:17 time, a new personal record for me :-)

I am running a 5K race Sat morning, so I'm thinking I can set a new record for myself.  I'll only be doing a 1 mile speed run tomorrow, then weights only til the race

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

10 min walking on TM for warmup/cooldown
36 min running on TM - mile repeats, 8:02 warmup, 6:57, 6:39, 6:22, 8:04 warmdown. 60 to 75 seconds between miles.

thanks, i've been working on speed lately.  i'm gunning for a sub-6 mile, who'd of thunk it, a little over two years ago i could barely walk to the fridge for a tub of ice cream without sweating :)

I just got back from 11 miles and ran a negative split on an out and back course. Out in 57 min and back in 56. That's about 10:20 pace out and 10:10 pace back.
