SO I finally made it to the othopedic doctor today.  Turns out my x-rays were good on the knees, he feels I am having pretty bad muscular issues, especially with my hamstrings.  Because of the lapband's recommendation not to use nsaids, he prescribed a cream, called Voltaren, which I thought sounded very cool.

Anyone else use this stuff?

No it was the Cartoon in the 80s where the mechanical lions would join together to form the Robot.

In any event, the power of Voltaren is strong and good.  I like it :)

I use Voltaren, my PCP prescribed it for my hip since we can't do NSAID orally, seems to work ok, I believe Tylenol has a similar cream out now too. Don't know the cost of either as the Dr loaded me up with samples of Voltaren.
