Any cyclists here??????
Well, this is WLS land, not just VSG land, and yes there are a LOT of cyclists here. In my opinion, most of them are whacky and nuts, but I guess it's cool. Best advice... Be consistant and HAVE FUN!!!!

Another cycle-nut here!
Ride your bike up till the night before surgery..you will miss it. Like Dan said, you will find all kinds of people here, not just VSG. We are all weight loss warriors, and we all need each others support, which you will find here.
Good luck to you and post any questions you have.

You all are right! I am having the VSG and I guess I focused in on that. I love cycling and am by no means a super cyclist, but for a fifty year old woman I do pretty good. LOL. I can't wait to get some of this excess weight off and step it up! You guys inspire me! I haven't felt good on the bike in the last year and I am so excited to get on the losers bench! Prior to this past year (got hit by a car and had the right nerves severed by a pit bull on the bike both times) those slowed me down and the weight piled on. I have ridden several century rides...crossed the state 477.5 miles in 5 days...and can work as hard as the next gal/guy. We have beautiful rides here in East Tennessee! I am glad I found this forum! This is what I needed...Ride Safe!
