hi,
i am teri. have been reading and posting on the VSG board and wanted to check you all out!  i am having VSG on 12/29 and previously was long distance cyclist and am hoping to be back on the bike by spring/summer 2011.  how do you guys manage with the low calorie intake post VSG to have the endurance needed for long distance sports?  i need to lose about 60-70 lbs and am considered a 'lightweight'.  Thanks to all!

Well, it seems like you are looking for specifics based on VSG, so MARIE will be your "Go-to". She just finished Ironman this past Sunday in Arizona... 200-300 cals an hour you should be fine. Gels, shot blocks, Perpeteum, etc...
