Had to take a rest day. Did a half marathon yesterday and really injured my foot bad, I can't put any weight on it, it really hurts and its swollen. The clinics are closed until Monday and I'm not willing to sit in urgent care for 7 hours for them to give me an ace bandage and ibuprofen which I can't even take, and then to tell me to go to the clinic on Monday. I am very frustrated, this is new territory to me since I have never had a running injury before. I am freaking out because I am registered for a marathon on December 19th. I'm starting to think it was a really bad idea to do that half yesterday, but I really just though I'd be ok. I never though my no quit attitude would cause an injury. I wrote a blog post detailing the race.
