3.3 mile run in the park this morning.  It was only 34 freaking degrees outside! This is Houston, TX - we don't DO 30 nothin!!!! lmaooooo

it was a good run - I get such a kick out of the 'die hards' - those folk that are there when you are there and you KNOW you're not crazy..... well, you're not alone and crazy...... at 7am and 34 degrees, there were two other people running - we did the silent head nod as we passed on the track.... LOL

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

45-minute spin class with a new instructor.

It was a great because the workout was more road-bike specific with lotsof sprint intervals and seated hill climbs.  SWEAT.  SWEAT.  SWEAT.

Great 3.55 mile (38:59) early morning sunrise run.  A little chilly (30 degrees), but new shoes and running shirt were great!

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Foot still hurts bad, the ball of my foot is swollen and I can't put any weight on it. But I managed to limp around the weight room and do shoulders and back, using the machines that didn't force me to press down with my feet. After that I swam 1000 meters, and that felt fine, no foot pain from that whatsoever.

Ended up getting on the elliptical for 60 minutes tonight. I just wish the calorie burn on that thing was correct. I doubt I burned 900 calories, but it still felt awesome!

I did 45 mins of cardio and 30 mins on the weight circuit today.  I joined a gym almost a month ago and I'm really enjoying it.  Next week I'm gonna find the nerve to join in the Zumba class.  I've found that losing 115 pounds has given me a smaller ass and a lot of nerve so I don't care if I make a fool of myself in this class, I'm gonna have fun anyway ;)
