Happy Thanksgiving
I just wanted to wish all of you and your families a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for! I think of Jillian who has been seperated from her hubby for some time while he is serving overseas. I AM THANKFUL for the service and am thankful I will be with my family tomorrow. I think of our good and dear friend from this board, Duanne, who has been riddled with complications and surgery after surgery, and has been in a hospital for over a month straight. I am thankful for my health and strength. I think of the guy from Team Mexico that my brother Jeff "Caught" at the finish line at Ironman on Sunday. When he crossed the finish line, he pulled out a picture of his three kids... Then in his broken English, with a sombering cry, he told my brother all 3 of them were killed 2 months ago. I am Thankful that I can enjoy the day with those I love the most. Be sure to count your blessings tomorrow and take some time for reflection on how incredibly blessed we all are! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Thank you Dan, when other Americans are thankful for our service it means so much to me,words can't express. My husband left for Iraq December 17th of last year, 4 weeks after my surgery. He will be home the second week of December. It has been a long, tough year. He is my soul mate, and no matter how many minutes, hours, days, weeks, months he is gone I will always be here waiting for him when he gets home. He has scarified so much for our family. His first deployment he left 3 days before our first child was born, and heartbroken he still fought on and did what he had to do to make it back home to us. From thousands of miles away he has been my biggest supporter and #1 cheerleader throughout my journey. He has loved me big or small. Even though this is another holiday we are apart, I am thankful for our wonderful marriage with beautiful children and our love that is so pure.
