c25k weekly check in
Did they find out what was wrong? Why you were vomiting for so long??
We had a rough week, we were told last Wednesday while driving three states away that we had a laundry list of repairs to do before we could close on our house. So I did walk a lot visiting the zoo but no running. So drove 10 hours home with a little girl throwing up at random rest stops and gas station (yucko) and started working on the house about 5 hours a night for four days.
House was inspected yesterday and hopefully will go through now. So basically no working out. Hoping I'll do well next week since I only work two days.
Hope some of you did better than me! I'm stuck at w7d3

They don't know. Not my gall bladder, stricture, or chemical. They want to scope me, but I declined since the vomiting stopped. They said to call if it starts again. I think it is related to my birth control. I read something about the hormones (mainly estrogen) stopping gall bladder function. I start a new pack sunday and we will see where we are then. Have a great Thanksgiving.
I have not done a stinking thing. Nothing. Got these holiday goals going but I just can't seem to drag myself up, change my clothes, and go down to the freezing cold basement to get on the treadmill! I AM running today, and I AM running tomorrow. Don't care what excuses I can come up with... it's clear and sunny outside so if it warms up some I'll head out (I'm a wimp in the cold), otherwise that treadmill's gonna see some action today. No excuses... I want to be under 170 by Thursday, and I've been bouncing between 171.5 and 175 for the last week. GRRRRR.....
Let's get moving this weekend, ladies!

Hi everyone! Chakara I did not realize you were vomiting for so long. Glad your feeling better. Stacy you are going to reach your goal your doing great and Emily I hope that your little one is doing better. I'm trying to keep my momentum going. I ran another 5k this morning and improved on my time by 3 minutes and some change. My pr so far 33:43. This running thing can become addictive:) My husband ran with me and he motivated me the whole way. I wish each and everyone of you the best and hope you have a beautiful Thanksgiving with family and friends. coco135
Well, I did manage to do 2 miles yesterday. Ran to my aunt's house to meet my hubby there. It was 42 degrees, but with long leggings, a long-sleeve t-shirt, and a fleece pullover, it actually felt pretty good except that I could have used some gloves. BUT, in that cold air--whew!! I did make it probably a mile and a quarter or so before needing to walk for a couple of minutes (when I came upon a steep hill in a subdivision), and then had to walk two minutes one more time. I really do think it's the cold air, 'cause I was getting a little wheezy, not just winded.
So, unless by some miracle we get some 50+ degree days between now and Springtime, I'm on the treadmill through the winter! At least that way I know I can get my time and distance in.
