So after reading all the race reports on halfs and full marathons, you folks so graciously share here, I decided to try and push myself.  I signed up for a 12 week training program with the goal of running a 20 mile race in March.  I have never worked with a trainer when it comes to running so I am really  looking forward to learning some new things and to preventing injury.  Thanks for always posting about the things you do. Everyone on here rocks and inspires more than they know no matter what their fitness level.

cool for you!!!!!

I'm looking through races to find another half marathon to run in March/April myself - I figure with 4months of training, I can get in under 3hrs no problem!

Be sure you keep posting your progress - we all learn from each other

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

It is the best feeling to set a goal and work towards it. The journey is awesome and so rewarding. It's much bigger than what others may witness from the outside. Congrats and enjoy every minute of this great ride!
