Hey there!  Just keep at it and you’ll get there!  :D  I am on week 9, did day 2 today.  I have had to take a break 1 week during the process and repeated a couple weeks.  But today I ran for the whole time and ran a total of 3.18 miles!  I feel great and like I am prepared for my 5K on Saturday.  J  I can remember when I first started a walking program just before surgery being out of breath and sweating after just 5 minutes of walking.  And thanks to C25K I have helped regain my health back.  The program is awesome!  There were lots of times I didn’t want to go, I just wanted to sleep in, I was tired from work, kids, honey dues, you name it.  But I have never went out and did a training and think, geez I shouldn’t have done this today.  Lol.  Today for example, l am on-call for work, after leaving from work last night at about 5, I had to come back in at 8 for an hour, got a call at 11:30, then preceeded to get alerts from 1am-3am,  but I still got up at 5:45 and got to the gym by 6:00, I was home again by 7 getting myself and my boys ready for work and school (my wife is in bed with the flu –poor thing!!)  and got them to school, myself to work by 8:20.  It has become a stress reliever, and a time for just me to get my head on straight, I know when I walk through those doors it can only benefit the work I put in there, not just for myself but my family.  Yes I am a bit tired today, but it’s worth it in the end.  I will however be going to bed early if at all possible tonight!  LOL!

When I made the decision to have surgery, I knew that it was just a tool and diet and exercise were also key components to be successful long-term.  I knew that if I was going to really make a change in my life I would have to cut time out for myself to do those things,  even if it meant losing a little sleep sometimes.
